La Strada

A hidden gem of a vacation spot just a stone's throw from Avignon. The daily pizza is incredibly fresh, simple yet perfectly executed—the kind that pleases everyone without being over the top. The ice-cold local beer is the perfect complement to the heat, and all this comes at a price that makes you want to come back as soon as the bill arrives. The setting seals the deal: a variety of atmospheres, cozy nooks everywhere, shade, fresh air… and even a garden with a pool. Yes, it really exists. You go for the food, you stay for the ambiance… and you'll be back without hesitation.

Excellent meal, the Italian address not to be missed, always a warm welcome, a team that listens and takes great care of its staff, and a magnificent setting.

Very disappointed!!! The Caesar salad was barely acceptable... the lettuce was wilted. For 20 euros, it's outrageous! The manager was very unpleasant... honestly, avoid this place.

A reliable Avignon favorite… almost a classic! Too expensive for pasta… as always in these restaurants, but that's the minimum charge per person… good for pizzas, meat dishes, and salads… very good for a light dinner…

Good food and a nice setting

So-so... very disappointed with our experience today at La Strada restaurant. The service was a bit slow, the Caesar salad was cooked and not very generous. It's nothing like the photos on Instagram... We got the wrong flavor of ice cream twice. We didn't insist... When we pointed out that the salad was cooked while paying the bill, it was practically our fault because we hadn't mentioned it during the meal. In short, we expected much better from this restaurant, which we visit occasionally, both in terms of the quality of the food and the service.
