Steak House

We arrived on June 6th and the door said "closed exceptionally this evening". It is now June 8th, marked as open on Google and exactly the same sign on the door, might as well put "closed for the weekend"... it will save me a trip for nothing.

I just ate at Steak House with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Booking was very quick and easy. A beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent and of high quality. A big thank you to the charming and very kind waitress who took such good care of the customers. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return! 🥰

Great find! The waitresses were so friendly and welcoming! The cocktails are delicious and the chicken dynamite is amazing! I highly recommend it!

The place was empty when we arrived. The young woman at the reception was pleasant, but the food was uninteresting. Even my mashed potatoes were like Mousseline.

A strange experience… The restaurant looked closed. No lights on… we hesitated to leave… then we finally opened the door. The restaurant really did seem closed even once we were inside. We were eventually greeted and seated. The menu was simple but quite interesting. Some items were missing, but we were warned (which is a shame since the menu isn't too extensive… it limits the choices). Then we were told there wouldn't be any fries except with the burgers, even though they were included with other dishes… And surprise: the waitress's tray had gone missing! The poor woman struggled to serve our drinks with her hands! Meanwhile, our orders were taken, and we waited… reading other reviews… and suddenly we started to have doubts… The food arrived! Great! Well, the grilled Camembert was more burnt than grilled, but let's not judge a book by its cover, but by its taste. And it wasn't much better: the rare ribeye was cooked like shoe leather, the rare burgers were closer to medium/well-done, and the lamb chops were almost good if we'd asked for them medium... but unfortunately, they were rare! The side dishes were mediocre or bland, poorly seasoned, and even the boiled potatoes with the Camembert were a disaster... the fries were soaked in oil, which explains why they didn't want to serve them with other dishes... or so I think. We declined the offer to remake the meat because it seemed impossible to improve it. So we ended our visit there. The waitress was apologetic and kindly offered to pay for the children's drinks. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par, and it was far too expensive for what it was. A truly disappointing experience.

We went there in the evening hoping to have a good time and were surprised to find the restaurant empty on a Friday night. The waitress, who seemed inexperienced, didn't know how to take orders properly and kept forgetting to send dishes to the kitchen – a huge disappointment. Not to mention the terrible quality of the food. We received a burrata salad with large chunks of tomato (they hadn't even bothered to cut it properly). The children's menu included undercooked steaks. A truly disappointing experience.

I had a lovely, calm, and cozy time; it's a shame I felt the quality of the meal had declined somewhat. The cocktail was excellent.

Avoid at all costs. Where to begin? We ordered an appetizer and waited exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes between the appetizer and the main course. The main course arrived and it was completely inedible. The ribeye steak was so tough it was a struggle to cut, and it wasn't even cooked as requested. The vegetables were disgusting, but the worst part was the burnt fries. I promise you, I advise you to avoid this restaurant. The waitresses, however, were excellent, but the cook needs to be replaced immediately. Basically, I paid for a dish I didn't even like. What a disgrace!

The meat was served cold! The ribeye steak and lamb chops were far too fatty! The carrots had gone bad; they must have been a few days old. Luckily, we were able to eat the fries, which were good... but we were very disappointed, especially since we know this restaurant because we had eaten there one evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There was no attempt at compensation. After telling the waitress we were disappointed, we refused to order anything else and left without dessert!

I had the set lunch menu (main course and dessert) for €25, and honestly, the quality was really excellent. I had lunch alone as I was away on business, and I appreciated the attentive service from the young woman who was waiting tables; she was an angel. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again. Well done!
