Vivotto Avignon

The place is interesting, but our experience was bittersweet. First of all, the opening hours listed on Maps are wrong. The sign on the door says 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, so...be aware of that. I have to say they served us after 9:00 PM, but only for takeout (obviously), and they were doing us a favor. They say they have gluten-free options, but the truth is that everything can contain traces of gluten. When you take the jars, they make you leave a €1 deposit for each one, so you have to bring them back the next day to get your deposit back. As for the food...we ordered risotto, rice salad, and vanilla flan. Overall, it was rather bland, but acceptable. In short...it saved us from a bad dinner (since it was gluten-free), but it's nothing to write home about.

Restaurant and caterer near Place des Corps Saints. Excellent Italian dishes to take away in jars or to enjoy on-site. The staff is lovely. And the cakes are delicious, especially the carrot cake 😜

We enjoyed our meal on the terrace under the tree. The fresh and vegetarian dishes were delicious. Still or sparkling water was offered. Excellent value for money.
