Le Fournil Gourmand

I've been sold day-old galettes several times now. Or sometimes when I buy two, they give me one fresh and one completely dry (the dry one goes straight out the window, soggy, and is given to the pigeons). The same goes for other types of homemade galettes; they sell them even when they're two or three days old and extremely dry. Besides, €0.85 for a loaf of bread in this neighborhood is rather expensive. With large families who have to buy more than one, they have a very high sales volume and could sell it for less. Anyway, I live in this neighborhood, but I rarely buy bread from them because I know it's not very fresh, so it's a rip-off. Many bakeries have come to St. Jean, and none of them did that. So I rarely go, and only when, given the time, I have no other choice. I already mentioned once that what I bought last time was dry, but apparently it must be profitable to rip people off because they persist. So even if you live nearby... Avoid them as much as possible.

The saleswoman was unpleasant and never smiled. The service was slow, which was a shame because the rest was fine.
